Dynautics Ltd, the leader in intelligent marine electronics for unmanned boats announced a Workshop in the design of unmanned vehicles. The workshop is open to attendees of Ocean Business at the Dynautics stand (V10) by appointment and an hour classroom session on Thursday 11th April 2019.

The workshop will include an overview of the process from vehicle Simulation to Launch and Mission completion. Dr Henry Robinson, Dynautics CEO, commented, ‘We have built a portfolio of customers with a wide variety of unmanned vehicle configurations. We have developed navigation, communication, power management and propulsion systems for vehicles from 20m (LOA), waterjet propelled patrol boats, down to 1m (LOA) electrically powered boats and smaller underwater vehicles. We have also developed partnerships with a wide range of adjacent technologies which allows us offer our customers the most appropriate solution for their mission’

Dynautics has recently announced several technology collaborations including MetOcean (Communication systems), Solbian (Solar power) and Mercury and Torqeedo (Propulsion). In addition, they have interfaced the Dynautics Spectre navigation system to three survey applications (Hydromagic, Hypack and QPS, Qinsy).

Dr Robinson also commented ‘We are in a unique position to help customer reduce their time from vehicle concept to mission success, we can use the ‘lessons learnt’ to accelerate their development, saving time, money and achieving the mission sooner’
