Meet Phantom 2, a modular UUV design grounded in the success of the company’s Phantom 1 vehicle, built for the US Navy. The team will be unveiling the 3 metre Phantom 2 at Oceanology International in March 2026 on stand F570.

We are experienced specialists in advanced marine autopilots and vessel control systems, as well as comprehensive vehicle management technologies for a range of surface and sub-surface vehicles, including USVs and UUV/AUVs. We are proud to be a trusted technology partner for uncrewed missions in offshore energy and mining, oceanography, marine transport and defence and security. Dynautics offers expertise, design methodologies and a toolbox of proven technologies to deliver reliable and robust UUVs that align with customer requirements.

Come and meet Phantom 2 on display at the show and find out more about our range of intelligent control systems for uncrewed surface and subsea vehicles.

Customer-driven product development

Dynautics’ modular subsea vehicle design – the Phantom 2 UUV – uses our proven autopilot technology and can be scaled to accommodate different payload requirements for enhanced flexibility. We use 3D models, digital twin creation and simulation to customise the design based on client needs, reducing risk and time to market.

Dynautics has extensive experience in developing subsea vehicle control systems that enable expanded capability ranges. Using our AUV Simulator technology, we can advance the development process and optimise vehicle efficiency. Positioning is achieved through ultrasound communication and/or dead reckoning, and our Dynamic Positioning (DP) solutions facilitate pin-point station keeping.
